We still remember our reportage stay at the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria in Sorento very well. The phenomenal location in the centre of Sorrento. With an unobstructed view over the cliffs to the Sorento harbour, from where the ships depart for Capri. Orange groves and a green park separate the Leading Hotel of the World from the lively Piazza Tasso. The hotel consists of three separate villas, which were built between 1834 and 1880. This year, the hotel celebrated its 190th birthday. Guido Fiorentino, President & CEO of the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria, gave us further insights in an interview.
